Access to Yamhill County Circuit Court Case Information Has Changed!

A new electronic case management system (the Oregon eCourt Case Information System) is being installed in Yamhill County Circuit Court beginning Thursday, May 31, 2012 through Sunday, June 10, 2012.

During this time, Yamhill County Circuit Court case information entered after May 30, 2012 will not be available at courthouse public access terminals, nor to online subscribers. Yamhill County Circuit Court case data entered during this time frame can be accessed by requesting it at the court clerk’s counter.

On Monday, June 11, 2012, all Yamhill County Circuit Court case information can be accessed by the public at most public courthouse terminals or by OJIN Online subscribers through the new Oregon eCourt Case Information System. Some Oregon circuit courts may not have public terminal access to the new system right away, but in that case, the public can request Yamhill County Circuit Court case information at the court clerk’s counter.

During the installation of the new system, all Yamhill County Circuit Court case information that was entered into the system before May 31, 2012, remains available and accessible to the public and OJIN subscribers through the Oregon Judicial Information Network (OJIN) and will remain available on that system through June 30, 2012.

After June 30th, Yamhill data will no longer appear in OJIN and all their case data (past and present) will be accessed through the new Oregon eCourt Case Information System. All other Oregon county circuit courts will continue to provide public and OJIN subscriber access to case information through the OJIN system until they transition to the new system over the next several years.

At this time, Crook, Jefferson, and Linn County Circuit Courts are scheduled to implement the new system in December of 2012. Jackson County Circuit Court is scheduled for implementation in March of 2013. The remainder of Oregon’s circuit courts are being scheduled for implementation between 2013 and 2015. Public notice will be provided in advance of other implementations.
