REPORTING INFORMATION FOR JURORS SUMMONED TO APPEAR ON FEBRUARY 10, 2010
THE FOLLOWING JURORS REPORT TO THE WASHINGTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE, LOCATED AT 145 N.E. SECOND AVE. IN HILLSBORO, AT 8:00 A.M. ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2010:
JURORS NUMBERED 1 THROUGH 128 AND 168 THROUGH 304
Please be on time. If you arrive after orientation has begun, you may be asked to leave and come back the following week. If you were summoned for February 10, but your number is not listed, you do not need to come in. You have been excused from this summons.
Courthouse doors open at 8:00 A.M. You will be required to pass through a metal detector, similar to that in an airport. If you have your jury summons or a yellow postcard, you will be permitted to enter the building at 7:45 A.M.
To qualify as a juror: you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Washington County, a citizen of the United States, and have not served on a State or Federal jury in the last 2 years.
Please DO NOT wear: Shorts, tank tops, or sweat pants. The temperature in each courtroom varies, so you may wish to wear layers of clothing.
Please DO NOT bring: Knitting needles, LOCAL NEWSPAPERS, firearms, knives, scissors, pepper spray, or family members and friends.
You MAY bring: Cell phones, pagers, headphones, and lap top computers.
A small refrigerator and a microwave are available if you wish to bring your lunch.
Parking is available in the six story garage located at First and Washington. Refer to the map inside your summons. Tear off your parking permit from the second page of your summons and place it on your windshield. Park on the 5th or 6th levels. Your parking permit is valid only in the parking garage. Do not park on the street unless you have a DMV handicapped parking permit. Downtown parking is 2 hours, whether or not it is marked.
