REPORTING INFORMATION FOR JURORS SUMMONED TO APPEAR ON MAY 22, 2012.
THE FOLLOWING JURORS REPORT TO THE WASHINGTON COUNTY COURTHOUSE, LOCATED AT 145 N.E SECOND AVE. IN HILLSBORO, AT 8:00 A.M. ON TUESDAY, MAY 22, 2012.

Please be on time. If you arrive after orientation has begun, you may be asked to leave and come back the following week. If you were summoned for May 22, but your number is not listed, you do not need to come in. You have been excused from this summons.
Courthouse doors open at 8:00 A.M. If you have your jury summons or a yellow postcard, you will be permitted to enter the building at 7:45 A.M. You my enter at either the First Street or the Second Avenue entrance. You will be required to pass through a metal detector similar to that in airports. Report to room B-8.
To qualify as a juror: you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Washington County, a citizen of the United States, and have not served on a State or Federal jury in the last 2 years.
Please DO NOT WEAR: shorts, tank tops, or sweat pants
Please DO NOT BRING: knitting needles, LOCAL NEWSPAPERS, firearms, knives, scissors, pepper spray or perfume
You may bring: cell phones, pagers, headphones, and lap top computers
A small refrigerator and a microwave are available, if you wish to bring your lunch.
Parking is available in the six story garage located at First and Washington. An elevator is located at the northwest corner of the garage. Refer to the map inside your summons. Tear off your parking permit from the second page of your summons and place it face up on your windshield. Park on the 5th or 6th level. Your juror parking permit is valid only in the parking garage. Do not park on the street around the Courthouse, unless you have a DMV handicapped parking permit. All downtown parking is 2 hours, whether or not it is marked.
